The design features a wide floral border and a detailed central field, echoing the original embroidery’s vibrant vegetal scrolls, palmettes, and trellis of diamond-shaped lozenges. With rich tones of pink, orange, blue, green, and ivory, the pattern captures the artistry and craftsmanship of the historic piece gifted to the City of Glasgow by Sir William and Lady Constance Burrell in 1944.
