PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & AVAILABILITY
Every care has been taken to ensure accuracy of description, images, specifications, colour and price of all products. However, we reserve the right to change, amend or withdraw any product on the site without prior notice being given. Sizes are offered as a guide only. Please be aware that handmade items are subject to variations in size, colour and shape owing to the unique nature of the product.
All items are offered subject to availability. The information displayed is considered as an invitation, not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods. Prices include tax, if applicable. Postage and packing is an additional charge, for details please see our website for information regarding current charges & delivery options.
CUSTOMS CHARGES
For international orders, we operate under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. This means that customers are responsible for any customs clearance charges, duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply in the destination country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and must be paid by the recipient.
We strongly advise checking with your local customs office before placing an order to understand any potential import charges. Some countries may also apply additional customs handling or clearance fees, which are outside our control.
For international returns, customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local regulations regarding return rights.
LIABILITY & LOST ORDERS
Orders are considered the customer’s responsibility once they have been delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout. However, if an order is lost in transit, we will offer to resend the item(s) or process a full refund.
For international deliveries, liability for lost, delayed, or non-delivered orders depends on the courier’s terms. In cases where an order has been marked as delivered by the courier but the customer has not received it, we will work with the courier to investigate, but we cannot guarantee a refund in these cases.
Any applicable customs duties and import taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient, even in cases of non-delivery.
GLASGOW LIFE GUARANTEE
If you are not entirely satisfied with any item you receive, or it has been damaged in transit, please return it to us (in its original packaging and with all relevant documentation) within 28 days. We regret that earrings for pierced ears cannot be returned, for hygiene reasons.
Any refunds granted will be credited to the Debit or Credit Card used at the time of order processing. Once we receive the item(s), we will issue a refund or replacement(s), whichever is requested and depending upon availability. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. If you fail to return goods at your expense, Glasgow Life and Culture & Sport Trading CIC reserve the right to charge the direct costs for their recovery and may offset that amount against any refund due.
We cannot accept responsibility for goods while in transit. We recommend that you ask for proof of postage when returning any item(s).

RETURNS
While we’re sure you’ll love what you’ve ordered, we understand that sometimes you might have second thoughts. To return for a full refund excluding the standard delivery charges, we ask you follow the instructions set out below.
You have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The easiest way to do this is to return the goods to us in accordance with the below instructions. If you are unable to return the goods to us before the 14 day period has expired you need to notify us of your intention to cancel, always within the 14 day period. To do so, simply email shop@glasgowlife.org.uk or write to us at Glasgow Life Retail, The Turret, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, Argyle St, Glasgow, G3 8AG, Scotland, UK.
You must return the goods to us in their original condition within 14 days of the date on which you informed us that you wished to cancel (or, if you have not told us that you wish to cancel, within 14 days of receipt of the goods). We will then refund your purchase within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that the order has been returned, whichever is earlier. Any items returned to us must be in their original condition – if they’re not, we may be unable to accept. We may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
Customers are responsible for the return postage charges and this cost will not be included in any refund given.
EXCHANGES
We are currently unable to offer exchanges for items ordered via our online shop. If you would like to return any item(s) you have received please follow the steps out-lined above.
