Solid polished pewter mini toasting quaich in a Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired design that has been handcrafted in Scotland.
Traditionally crafted lead free pewter quaich made in Ayrshire, Scotland by one of the last remaining Scottish pewter mills.
Quaich measures 8cm from handle to handle and the bowl of the quaich is approximately 2 inches in diameter.
Supplied in a satin lined presentation box with a story card telling the history of the quaich.
Traditionally offered as a cup of welcome or farewell the word quaich derives from the Gaelic "Cuach" which means "shallow cup".
This simple cup comes with two handles or colloquially "Lugs" was originally made from wood, horn or leather and later pewter and silver.
